A line of thunderstorms moved northeast across far southeast
Kansas during the overnight hours. Otherwise central and eastern
Kansas remained quiet. Predawn temperatures were in the 60s, with
southeast winds of 5 to 10 mph.

The upper level low pressure system which was responsible for all
the severe weather yesterday in western Kansas and Oklahoma, will
move slowly northeast into central Nebraska today. Another round
of strong to severe storms will be possible across the region
today, however the axis will shift east from yesterdays affected
areas. Daytime highs will range from the cooler 50s in western
Nebraska, to the very warm upper 80s in southern Kansas and
Oklahoma.

The upper level weather system will move from central Nebraska into
southeast South Dakota tonight, with storms continuing to affect
locations to the east of the upper level low pressure center. Some
of these storms will become severe, especially across eastern and
northeast Nebraska. Overnight lows will range from the cooler 40s
in western sections of Nebraska and Kansas, to the mid 60s in
eastern Oklahoma.
